Miami finally has somewhere to watch it properly.

A year ago, nobody imagined the world's biggest tournament on home soil would feel this out of reach. Tickets are gone. Fan fests are canceling. The ones that survive will be a sweaty, overcrowded mess. And sports bars? Loud, chaotic, nowhere to actually watch.

So where do you go?

Footygal has partnered with Club 90, a 10,000 sq ft, guest list-only football clubhouse at Miami Ironside, and we're making it ours this summer.

We're hosting all England matches, plus select additional teams and fixtures, in an elevated environment built for people who experience football as culture, not just sport. Expect great music, great F&B, and proper footy community vibes.

Hi, I’m Caitlin. I started Footygal because football culture is changing. It’s not just boys and beer anymore. The game has become more global, more social, more connected to fashion, travel, hospitality, music, and community.

The second leg of the Arsenal/Atleti Champions League semifinal is absolutely worthy of getting out of school a little early.

It’s been 20 years since Arsenal competed in the biggest club match in the world, and getting to share this moment with my not-so-little-anymore, lifelong Arsenal fans is something I’ll never take for granted.

These are the memories. The nerves, the belief, the rituals, the reasons we love this club so much, and nothing could bring this die hard Gooner more joy.

The final will be a monster against one of the top two giants in football, but we’ve made it this far, and we believe we can go all the way.

As we get closer to 2026, I’m sharing a few fun, surprising, and culturally rooted facts about every nation competing in the tournament - from the football history and national team identity to the music, food, language, diaspora, and little details that make each country special.

Because the World Cup is never just about the matches. It’s about the people, the places, the pride, and the stories each team brings with them.

The next few weeks are not for the faint-hearted - in football or in the Stuart household.

We are technically a house divided: Ipswich on one side (my husband), Arsenal on the other (me). But the truth is, we all love both, which means the next few weeks are going to require deep breaths, strong coffee, and a lot of belief.

Ipswich didn’t get the win, but they got the draw against West Brom and stayed second. Automatic promotion is still right there. Three points needed. Two games to get it done. I believe they will.

And then there’s Arsenal.

For me, and a few others in this house, this one feels even bigger. The Premier League title is still alive, but there is absolutely no room left for error. Every match has to be a win. Every performance has to put pressure back on Manchester City. No slip-ups. Just belief, fight, and big results.

Ipswich to the Premier League. Arsenal to the title.

The second leg of this Chelsea-Arsenal Women’s Champions League quarter-final is here, and Arsenal take a 3-1 lead into Stamford Bridge after a seriously impressive first-leg win at the Emirates on 24 March. Chelsea now have real work to do if they want to turn this around and keep alive their push for a first European title. Tonight’s winner goes through to face Wolfsburg or Lyon in the semi-finals.

I’m posting a clip from a conversation I had with a Chelsea Women fan when I went to Arsenal v Chelsea in the WSL, and what stayed with me was how clearly she talked about community, the positivity around the women’s game, and the way it’s growing in a way that feels intentional, authentic, and actually connected to the people showing up for it.

That’s something I keep noticing more and more. I love the men’s game and the women’s game, and I’m not interested in flattening either one into some lazy comparison. But from being in the stands at both, the women’s game often feels like it has a healthier kind of energy around it. The passion is still there. The rivalry is still there. But there’s also more openness, more joy, and more sense of shared experience. Honestly, I think parts of the men’s game could use a bit more of that female energy in the stands.

That doesn’t make the women’s game softer. It makes it feel more human. And right now, as the level keeps rising and the audiences keep growing, that feels like one of its biggest strengths.

When Spurs sacked Thomas Frank, I said they should go get Roberto De Zerbi right as he parted ways with Marseille. Six-plus weeks later, that is exactly what they’ve done.

The delay matters. Move sooner and maybe you save a lot of money, save your fans a lot of heartache, give yourselves a better shot in the second leg of the North London derby at home, put more distance between yourselves and relegation, and maybe keep the Champions League in play.

Now they’ve got De Zerbi, and North London is about to get a lot more interesting.

Arsenal and Chelsea have played each other dozens of times, but this is the first time they’ve met in Europe - and the first time two clubs from the same city have faced off in the Women’s Champions League.

It’s London, but on a completely different stage.

Arsenal carry the history in this competition. They’re still the only English club to have won it, and they come into this as defending champions. Chelsea, on the other hand, have set the standard domestically over the last decade, winning titles and building one of the most consistent teams in the game - but Europe is the one piece that’s still missing.

So this tie sits right in between those two identities. One club that knows what it means to win this competition, and another that feels like it’s been building toward it for years.

And now they have to go through each other to keep that path alive.

There are certain matchups in football that just keep finding each other, and Wolfsburg v. Lyon is one of them.

They’ve met in finals, knockouts, different eras of this competition, and now again in a quarterfinal that carries real weight. This will be their 12th meeting in the Women’s Champions League, which tells you everything about how consistently these two have operated at the top of the game.

Wolfsburg were the ones who broke through first back in 2013. The FA Cup delivers again!

League One Port Vale just knocked out Premier League Sunderland to reach the quarterfinals, something the club hasn’t done since 1954.

It’s been 72 years, and generations of fans waiting for a moment like this.

That’s the magic of the cup.

I’m processing the Wolves/Arsenal result without overreacting, but it is frustrating because these are points we did not have to drop. This squad has too much quality and depth for the same core players to look this exhausted while others are barely trusted, and the game management decisions are not helping. At some point it stops being about talent and starts being about how the talent is being used.

Arteta revitalized Arsenal when he arrived in 2019 and gave the club its identity back, so this is not a reactionary “Arteta out” take. It is a genuine question about whether the project is stalling and what comes next if it is.
